With the evolving COVID-19 pandemic, Paths for People has made the very difficult decision to cancel both Open Streets planned for 2020. 

Due to the high transmission risk of the COVID-19, it would be extremely dangerous for us to gather thousands of people together. Unfortunately, there isn’t a clear timeline on when the public health situation will stabilize and this doesn’t give us a clear path forward to effectively plan these large-scale events. 

Ultimately, our mission as an organization has Edmontonians’ health and well-being at its core, and we are committed to upholding our values throughout the pandemic.

We hope to bring Open Streets back to Edmonton in 2021 with your help.
