Ward Karhiio is located in southeast Edmonton, west of 50 St and east of Gateway Boulevard.
Karhiio pronounced “GAR-EE-HE-O”. It is a word that is significant for Michel First Nation and means “Tall Beautiful Forest.” You can find out more information here.
