Enbridge Centre is a 25-storey, 551,208-square-foot, LEED® Gold Certified office building. It was completed in August 2016, incorporating the original brick facade of the century-old Kelly and Ramsey buildings.
As a part of the redevelopment, the building owners made sure to create facilities to foster community amongst the different tenants and help them integrate active transportation into their daily lives.
BIKE SHARE PROGRAM
Enbridge Centre tenants can sign-out a bike for use downtown between 8am-6pm, Monday-Friday. There are 8 bikes available for use between May and October each year.
The Bike Share Program is free for all building tenants (they just need to complete a waiver).
This program was designed to encourage the use of the bike lanes in the downtown core. Each bike has an integrated lock included to secure the bike while out on the town.
INDOOR BIKE STORAGE
A secure, indoor bike locker located in the building parkade. It’s 100% secure and accessible only with a programmed key card. It costs $20/month to use.
The bike room also has bike repair station, lockers, showers, and towel service. There are 212 people currently using the bike room and its facilities.
OUTDOOR BIKE RACKS
There are several outdoor public bike racks by the building. These racks are in areas visible to exterior cameras to be monitored by Security.
Security also provides bike locks if required by the public to ensure their bike is secure while using services in the building.
