#15MinCity Challenge

Get active and explore your neighbourhood by participating in our #15MinCity Challenge. During the weeks of June 15-20 and June 22-27, we challenged you to find specific objects within a 15-minute walk, roll, bike, or transit ride from your house.

A #15MinCity is a community where everything people need for their daily life is within a 15-minute walk, roll, bike ride, or transit trip from their home!

This is the vision set out within City Plan. This is Edmonton’s land use and transportation plan. City Plan will guide Edmonton as it grows to a population of 2 million.

This challenge was run in partnership with PartcipACTION’s Community Better Challenge. We are grateful for their support! You can learn more about the Community Better Challenge here.

Shoutout to Paths for People Member Serena Tang, who was the visual artist and illustrator who developed all the social media graphics for our Challenge!
